Steering Group
The Galway City Community Forum Steering Group is comprised of 15 Forum members who work entirely on a voluntary basis. They are responsible for ensuring that the aims, objectives of the Forum are implemented. The Steering Group is elected by the Forum membership at the Annual General Meeting, when there is a turnover of at least one third of the group. The members aim to:
- Organise business and agendas for the Community Forum
- Day-to-day management of the Forum
- Co-ordinate activities of the sub-committees
- Participate in sub-committees
- Act as a support to representatives and facilitate information sharing.
- Facilitate the evaluation of Community Forum activities.
